Bob brings a lifetime of experience to Millford Farm. This knowledge is the corner stone upon which he is building a reputation of his own. Before purchasing Millford Farm, he managed the breeding and veterinary care at Waterford Farm. Owned by his father, Dr. Smiser West, Waterford Farm established Bob's equine career as he was responsible for up to one hundred-twenty mares a season. Bob is a consignor to all major Kentucky sales. Through extensive visits abroad he has developed a working knowledge of prominent European breeding areas.
